Mechanical Birdmouth
After a long bit, I've started creating metal origami again. Here is the classic birdmouth. It was designed in SolidWorks at Artisan's Asylum. Note the offsets for the hinges; it is not trivial to make metal origami, because metal doesn't "give" like paper does!
The SolidWorks files are available here, as well as the cut pattern. On some of these mechanical models, I used a CNC plasma cutter to make the cuts for the pieces.
